Circular Grab Adhesive

A sticky solution for grabbing that works well and is made from recycled materials.

A sticky solution for grabbing that works well and is made from recycled materials.

Soudal made a new water-based grab adhesive that is made of 82% recycled raw materials, of which 35% are bio-based. It comes in a PE cartridge made of 80% Post Consumer Recycled (PCR) material. This circular alternative to current water-based grab adhesives works the same as current grab adhesives and costs the same. A simple and inexpensive way for people who do their own home projects to use a circular solution.

Positive facts about Circular Grab Adhesive

Same performance as the currently sold grab adhesives whilst using 82% recycled material in a 80% PCR cartridge
Uses 81.4g CO2 less than the current cartridge of similar grab adhesives
Using one ton of non-virgin bio-based raw material can save up to 7000L of water
82% of raw material used is recycled, of which 35% bio based and up to 80% of plastic for packaging is made of PCR material
If this solution takes 40% of the French DIY Grab Adhesives market, this would mean a reduction of around 325 tonnes CO2
Same price/quality as current solutions with 80% less virgin raw & packaging material
Minimal extra investment with rapid payback
