Octatube’s portfolio reads like a tour of architectural marvels. From the P.C. Hooftstraat 138 in Amsterdam to the Kabelnetgevels Markthal in Rotterdam, each project highlights a unique challenge met with creativity and precision. The Sammy Ofer Centre in London and the Campus Canopy in Dublin show how Octatube’s expertise crosses borders. Not to mention the iconic Paperdome, a cardboard dome designed with Shigeru Ban, recently relocated to serve as a youth sports venue in Amsterdam Southeast. These projects aren’t just structures; they’re stories of engineering excellence and design daring.

Design & Build: A Seamless Process

What sets Octatube apart is its integrated design & build approach. Instead of juggling multiple contractors and engineers, clients get a streamlined experience. Design, testing, development, production, and construction all happen under one roof, making communication smoother and timelines tighter. It’s a one-stop shop for those who want their architectural vision realized without compromise.

Commitment to Sustainability and Community

Octatube isn’t just about impressive buildings; it’s about making a positive impact. Proudly a B Corp, the company prioritizes environmental stewardship and community well-being. The recent completion of the Paperdome project is a perfect example—repurposing a unique structure to benefit youth sports in Amsterdam. This commitment extends beyond projects to the company culture and how Octatube engages with its surroundings. It’s architecture with a conscience.

Engineering Excellence and Structural Innovation

At the heart of Octatube’s success lies a team of highly skilled engineers and structural experts who thrive on complexity. Whether it’s a renovation or a brand-new build, the focus is on pushing the limits of what glass and steel can do. Structural engineers work hand-in-hand with designers to create solutions that are not only visually stunning but also structurally sound and maintainable. This blend of creativity and technical know-how ensures that every project stands the test of time—both in durability and design impact.
