Poverty reduction is rarely a single-sector effort. Many of the initiatives listed here overlap with SDG 8 (decent work) and SDG 10 (reduced inequalities), since stable income and fair access to opportunity are the most direct paths out of poverty.
What counts as an SDG 1 project? Any organization whose core model measurably improves income security, access to financial services, or protection against economic shocks for underserved populations.
