The Providence Hood & Portland To Coast Relay is renowned as THE MOTHER OF ALL RELAYS. This iconic running/walking relay race boasts 12 TEAMMATES, 2 VANS, and 1 TEAM embarking on an epic journey across 130-200 MILES through Oregon’s unique terrain. Originating at the storied top of Mount Hood and concluding at the beaches of the Pacific Ocean, the event has drawn participants from over 40 countries and all 50 states for decades. This relay—celebrating its 44th annual Providence Hood To Coast and 35th annual Providence Portland To Coast—has filled its team limit for the past 37 years and enjoyed a lottery Opening Day success for an impressive 33 consecutive years… A tradition built on endurance, spirit, and camaraderie!
