NASCEND is dedicated to enhancing the care of infants affected by maternal substance use disorder (SUD). By providing a comprehensive continuum of care that includes education, technology, and family engagement, NASCEND addresses the pressing issue of neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS). With a focus on early intervention and support, the project aims to improve health outcomes for both mothers and infants, ultimately reducing the long-term costs associated with care.
