What is Polyloop?
Polyloop – Recycling Unit for Composite PVC Plastics transforms your waste into your raw materials. The recycling of composite plastics – once considered non-recyclable – is now possible thanks to innovative technology specifically tailored to process your unique waste stream. This solution, designed by a young French startup, turns a proven industrial recycling process into a compact, plug-and-play, high-efficiency Smart-Factory. It is dedicated to the complex plastic composite waste that includes soft PVC composite materials. Imagine a process that uses selective dissolution of the polymer and separation of the reinforcement (PET fiber, glass, carbon…) so that waste is not wasted further and energy is conserved by keeping the material as a polymer.
Main Benefits
Polyloop offers several benefits that make recycling composite PVC plastics both efficient and economically attractive:
- YOUR WASTE BECOMES YOUR RAW MATERIALS – transforming non-recyclable waste into high-quality regenerated materials.
- A PROVEN PROCESS IN A COMPACT TECHNOLOGY – the innovative process is encapsulated in an optimized container that is easy to use.
- HIGH QUALITY OF RECYCLED MATERIALS – ensuring a high-level separation of constituents to yield pure, ready-to-use recycled materials.
- MODULAR – plug and play equipment accompanied by optional modules such as energy, pre-treatment, or post-treatment.
- INTEGRATED – installed directly on an industrial site, close to the source of waste.
- ADAPTED TO YOUR NEEDS – processing waste in batches of 300 kg in just 3 hours.
Proven Process Technology
The process used by Polyloop is not new; it is based on established technologies such as Vinyloop and Texyloop that have proven successful for over 15 years in a large-scale plant in Italy. This process involves selective dissolution of the polymer, followed by the separation of the reinforcement – which often includes materials like PET fiber, glass, or carbon – and precipitation back to a polymer compound. In simple terms, instead of choosing to recycle only the polymer or just the reinforcement, the Polyloop system retains the highest value of the material. There is minimal energy wasted in having to polymerize again. It is a refined, efficient process that has been integrated into a compact standard 40-feet marine container, ready to be installed where the waste is generated.
Sustainable Circular Economy
Operating on the principle that recycling should be decentralized and integrated locally, Polyloop lays the foundation for a true circular economy loop: Manufacture – Use – Collect – Recycle – Integrate. This approach means that players in the plastics sector have the opportunity to manage their waste streams effectively through localized recycling solutions that are both sustainable and economically viable. In a world where traditional recycling processes offer either chemical or mechanical separation with a resulting low-end raw material, Polyloop innovates by preserving the inherent value of the polymer, ensuring that every recycling cycle remains beneficial and inline with sustainable practices … closing the loop in a dynamic new way.
Innovative Recycling Mechanism
Polyloop’s approach stands out with its integrated, modular system that is both simple to deploy and highly effective. The equipment is plug-and-play – a modern solution that provides versatility in applications for both post-industrial waste and post-consumer waste. The process is about more than just recycling; it is about transforming waste into high-quality, regenerated materials that can re-enter the production cycle without compromise. This innovative recycling mechanism is compact, efficient, and purpose-designed for the challenges presented by composite plastics – ensuring that every component of waste retains its value.
Custom Integration for Industries
One of the most appealing aspects of the Polyloop project is its ease of integration. Rather than relying on a massive centralized plant, this system is designed to work directly on the industrial site – effectively decentralizing recycling. This local integration means that waste does not have to be transported long distances, reducing carbon emissions and boosting overall operational efficiency. The modular design means that industries can customize the system with additional optional modules like energy recovery, pre-treatment, or post-treatment units, ensuring that the process is not only effective but tailored to fit specific requirements. It is a truly local solution that champions efficiency and eco-conscious practices … all within a highly compact and agile setup.

Local Integration and Future Outlook
The future of recycling is localized and integrated, and Polyloop is leading the way. Its compact and plug-and-play design ensures that recycling processes can be implemented directly at the waste-generating site. Industries now have the opportunity to process 300 kg of composite waste in just 3 hours, all while maintaining high material quality without the need for extensive infrastructure. Moreover, the design allows for seamless expansion and adaptation thanks to its modular build – ensuring that technological upgrades or specific customization options are available for varied industrial needs. In a rapidly evolving industrial landscape, Polyloop’s solution represents a significant step forward, setting a benchmark for future recycling technologies that combine efficiency, flexibility, and sustainability … all wrapped in a compact, user-friendly package.
