This annual Nürnberg Digital Festival is a dynamic event series and platform for digital transformation, taking place from June 30 to July 9, 2025. New events are added every day – and the majority of the program is free and open to everyone! The process is straightforward: first, share the knowledge. Then, register the event on the website. Starting from May 2025, once registered, the event will go online as part of the program. This flexible and open invitation to innovators ensures that the festival continues to grow and cover a broad spectrum of digital topics, encouraging an engaging and dynamic exchange of ideas.
Exciting Opening and Notable Speakers
The NUEDIGITAL opening session on June 30, 2025, at the Künstlerhaus Nürnberg is the kickoff for ten days filled with inspiration, exchange, and innovation… a true celebration where technology meets community spirit. The opening sets the stage for substantive discussions on the digital future – one that is open, diverse, and firmly rooted in regional culture. The first speakers add a special spark to the festival. Constanze Kurz brings forward a lecture that touches everyone by discussing data leaks, ransomware, and how artificial intelligence is changing the world of cyber attacks. Christina von Messling then asks: Everyone talks about AI – but what to do? In her role as a strategist at the Foresight Factory, she demonstrates how to respond sensibly to technological upheavals. Not to mention, Sascha Pallenberg, one of the best-known voices in the European tech scene, shares insights as a blogger, digital strategist, and host of “MeTacheles,” a newsletter and podcast covering technology, sustainability, and digital responsibility.
