DEPT®’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. Founded in 1996 by brothers Paul and Bart Manuel as TamTam, a full-service digital agency in the Netherlands, it quickly grew its ambitions. Partnering with private equity firm Waterland in 2015 set the stage for international expansion. The 2016 merger with other leading digital agencies birthed DEPT®, a global agency combining creativity, technology, and data. Fast forward to 2019, Dimi Albers took the helm as CEO, and a partnership with The Carlyle Group accelerated growth even more. DEPT® became the first global agency to earn Certified B Corporation status in 2021, underscoring its commitment to sustainability and ethics.
