The Keiryo PET solution is a way to make bottles out of plastic that is better for the environment and cheaper to make. During the injection process, the Keiryo PET solution changes how the material works. This makes it possible to make PET containers with less new material and/or more recycled feedstock. Up to 15% better barrier performance has been measured for containers of carbonated soft drinks. To get this result, a patented 3D-printed metal insert is added to industrial production assets that are already in place. 3D printing makes it possible to make things at low cost and on a global scale. The KP technology has a big effect on the environment, which gets bigger as more people use it and comes from using less materials.
