A smart and flexible network of sensors to keep trash from piling up on the streets.
We often see trash around open containers or lids because there is too much trash or people don’t know how to use them. This makes the area look bad, smell bad, and could lead to pandemics. Urban Conectum is a device that is put on street lamps and uses telecommunications networks and sensors to control trash on the streets. It does this by predicting how full trash cans will be and figuring out how clean the streets are. It tells the system how full each container is, how often the sidewalks are cleaned, how loud it is, and how much CO2 is in the air. It lets you manage alerts about things like containers about to overflow, open lids, fire, vandalism, etc. It is counted how many doors open and close. The number of openings and the amount of weight collected are used by an algorithm to figure out how full the container is. Sends a warning when the speed and fill level are about to reach their limits. It also sends an alarm if it finds that the container has been left open. The artificial vision system for controlling containers and keeping public roads clean gives: Getting the most out of the space and routes Taking charge of how dirty the roads are Getting the most out of cleaning crews.
