Vertiberry’s Unique Growing Solutions
At the heart of Vertiberry’s success lies their TCEA growing solutions. These aren’t your average farming techniques. They’re next-generation methods designed to support growers with innovative expertise and technology. This totally controlled environment agriculture system guarantees predictable, constant high quality all year long. It’s a game-changer for anyone looking to boost yields and grow healthier plants without relying on pesticides.
Rooted in Belgium, Growing Globally
Vertiberry’s story starts in Belgium, where since 2017 they’ve been researching and developing their own growing systems. Leveraging Belgium’s rich berry farming knowledge, they created a fully integrated solution for berries and plants. Now, their growth has taken them across the Atlantic to Quebec, Canada, where they’re building their first scaled production facility using TCEA. This expansion means their high-quality berries and plants are now available not just in Europe, but also in Canada and the East Coast of the US.
From Genetics to Fruit: A Vertically Integrated Partnership
One of Vertiberry’s core beliefs is that quality starts at the genetics level. Their vertically integrated approach—from genetics to fruit—ensures strong, healthy plants for their own strawberry production. But it doesn’t stop there. They also provide these high-quality plants to propagators and growers in Europe and North America, including those using their TCEA solutions. This partnership model supports a healthier ecosystem and better crops for everyone involved.

The Journey So Far and What’s Next
Vertiberry’s journey began in 2017 in Brussels, where they transformed a disused covered meat market into a hub of innovation. By 2018, they were selling potted herbs to major Belgian and French retailers. Fast forward to 2022, the focus shifted to developing TCEA strawberry growing methods. And soon, in Q1 2025, their berries and young plants will be available in North America. It’s an exciting path of growth and innovation, with plenty more to come.
