Innovative Projects at HyperAktiv

HyperAktiv is all about pushing the envelope. Take the “Bring Your Own Mask” (BYOM) project, for example. In 2020, 41 Swiss designers were invited to rethink the protection mask, turning it into something aesthetic, poetic, and socially engaged. The 36 innovative projects didn’t just stay on paper—they were showcased in a real 3D online exhibition and physically exhibited in Dubai during the Dubai Design Week. Then there’s the ongoing Designer’s Table project, which since 2017 has been crafting experimental tableware and dining experiences. Guests get to test these designs in real-life dinners, offering feedback that fuels continuous innovation.

Events and Experiences Hosted

HyperAktiv isn’t just about projects; it’s a lively venue for a wide range of events. From performance art and pop-ups to receptions, exhibitions, private dining, workshops, team-building activities, and shows—the space adapts to whatever creative vision comes its way. This flexibility makes it a hotspot for anyone looking to create memorable, engaging experiences in the realms of food, design, and culture.

The Team Behind HyperAktiv

Behind the scenes, there’s a tight-knit team of four passionate individuals. Raphaël, the Industrial Designer and Founder, leads with vision and creativity. Meva handles event coordination and marketing, making sure everything runs smoothly and reaches the right audience. Lucas, another Industrial Designer, brings fresh ideas and technical expertise, while Paul manages administration. Together, they form a family—limitless, hyper agile, and driven by design. Their collaborative spirit is the engine that keeps HyperAktiv moving forward.
