What the Project Is: An AI-Powered Perfume Launch for Glossier
Imagine stepping into a Parisian event where fragrance meets cutting-edge technology in the most poetic way. That’s exactly what happened with Glossier’s launch of their Fleur perfume. This wasn’t just any launch—it was an immersive, AI-powered experience that invited guests to discover the scent through personalized poetry. When visitors picked up the perfume bottle, the space itself seemed to come alive, observing their expressions and posture, then responding instantly by projecting unique poems crafted just for them. It’s a fresh take on how technology and art can blend seamlessly to create something truly memorable.

How AI Brings Poetry to Life
The heart of this experience is an AI-generated poem created uniquely for each visitor. When someone lifts the perfume bottle, a hidden sensor detects the weight change, triggering a webcam to capture their image. This image is sent to ChatGPT, which instantly crafts a poem inspired by the visitor’s clothing, posture, and presence. The poem then appears projected on a fabric wall, accompanied by a soft AI-generated voice narration. The whole process happens in seconds, making the moment feel spontaneous and magical. It’s a perfect blend of technology and human emotion, without feeling cold or mechanical.
Spatial Design: A Roaming Field of Discovery
The venue itself, Galerie Joseph, was transformed into a ‘roaming field’—a playful, collective experience that invites visitors to wander through an enchanted garden. Pastel wildflowers bloom throughout the airy architecture, while an invisible canopy of trees casts dappled shadows that mimic nature’s rhythms. Lilac petals scattered across the floor respond to guests’ movements, creating a tactile connection between the visitor and the space. This design echoes the Fleur campaign’s dance between urban life and nature, offering a peaceful oasis amid the city buzz.
Le Fleur Pavilion: The Dreamlike Centerpiece
Separated from the Garden by translucent fabrics, Le Fleur’s pavilion offers a distinct, dreamlike atmosphere. It’s the heart of the experience, where guests are gently guided by growing piles of lilac petals, shifting shadows of other visitors, and a soft, immersive soundscape. This space feels intimate yet expansive, drawing visitors deeper into the poetic AI experience. It’s where fragrance, light, sound, and technology come together to create a moment that lingers long after you leave.
Project Impact: Linking to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Lasting Impressions and Beyond
As guests exit through the gift shop, they carry with them more than just a perfume bottle—they leave refreshed by a tactile, memorable encounter with Glossier’s world. This project proves that technology doesn’t have to be flashy or overwhelming to be impactful. Instead, it can quietly enhance human connection and creativity, making every visitor feel seen and inspired. It’s a beautiful example of how digital design, interior design, and interactive spaces can come together to tell a story that’s both personal and universal.
