With the planet warming despite global CO2 reduction efforts, Carbyon’s breakthrough thin film technology provides a way to remove excess carbon from the air, a necessary step because there can be no net zero without carbon removal. The challenges are huge – humans emit 40 billion tons of CO2 per year, and even if emissions drop, the warming continues. Carbyon’s innovative approach promises an economically viable route to lock away carbon and synthesize renewable alternatives to fossil fuels.
