About CLASS EARTH Project
CLASS EARTH is a project where adults and children become classmates who learn on Earth. LEAVING A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE FOR OUR CHILDREN, this initiative provides education and conducts business activities regarding the conservation of biodiversity. It is built on the belief that “without the right knowledge, the right action cannot be taken.” By providing ‘nature positive’ education, business support, and original products related to the Sustainable Development Goals, CLASS EARTH joins forces with partners in all fields to create a unique blend of consulting, education, and biodiversity conservation. The project has even garnered recognition in Management consultant – for-profits industry with a bcorp score of: 126.1. It is a place where tradition meets innovative environmental awareness… a catalyst for change in both education and sustainable business practices.

Sustainability Support Initiatives
Within its core offerings, CLASS EARTH dedicates significant effort to sustainability support. The initiative backs multifaceted business projects that target sustainable development goals, nature positive measures, and more. These activities serve as a foundation for innovative consulting engagements that tackle environmental challenges in both local and global contexts. Such initiatives emphasize that conservation is not merely an environmental issue but an integral part of global consulting and education strategies.
Innovative Educational and Art Endeavors
Among the standout projects is the UNIFORM PROJECT, which incorporates educational material into everyday school routines. This project is enriched by a 150-year legacy of the school uniform manufacturer, Akashi, which has now collaborated on an educational style uniform that integrates biodiversity and the SDGs into daily school lives. Equally engaging is the ART PROJECT centered around the KENGO BONSAI GALLERY. Bonsai, the miniature art of nature that can last over 100 years with special care, is not only an aesthetic marvel but also a symbol of sustainability—a reminder of the cohesion between nature and humanity. It is exciting to see how art adds layers of imagination to nature conservation.
Product Planning and Unique Initiatives
The project further extends into the realm of product planning, aiming to design original products of the highest quality with the goal of promoting nature positive learning. An imaginative highlight is the bilingual picture book, LATAIR AND THE EARTH SAVER. In this story, Kanade—a shy boy—encounters Laterre, a fairy of the Earth, and learns about the crisis facing Earth’s creatures. This engaging narrative, available in both Japanese and English, establishes a critical connection to the SDGs and biodiversity conservation. Equally intriguing is the section on ENDANGERED TEAS. Some Japanese teas are now endangered due to a decrease in producers and shifts in the production environment, underscoring the fact that even everyday practices can offer an opportunity to transform behavior towards a more sustainable future.
Explorations in Biodiversity and Climate Change
It is no coincidence that biodiversity and climate change stand as the two big pillars of the SDGs. CLASS EARTH carefully addresses both of these global challenges. With topics ranging from the 2023 IUCN RED LIST, which recorded a record number of endangered species, to discussions on the international commitment of “30 by 30” at the G7 Summit, the project brings to light important differences in conservation strategies, such as those between an OECM and a natural symbiosis site. Emphasized here is the gradual development of specific indicators for biodiversity conservation—a field that, while still maturing, is increasingly recognized as essential alongside carbon neutrality efforts and climate action.
