The goal of the solution is to give public works owners and road/motorway managers a long-lasting solution that is easier on the environment and lets them fix buried metal culverts that are badly rusted and at the end of their useful lives. The solution gives them the chance to be brought back to their full capacity to handle traffic loads, to have their remaining life extended by 100 years, and to keep their passage clearance so that they can keep doing their main job, which is to provide a road or agricultural passage and/or to keep the flow of waterways going without increasing the risk of flooding.
