AkuoCoop – A crowdfunding platform allowing citizens and businesses to invest in renewable energy assets promoting a fair and sustainable energy transition.

Developed in 2007 in France, AKUO ENERGY provides a solution to Affordable & clean energy, Sustainable cities & communities, Responsible consumption & production – in line with sustainable development goals for the future.

  • The 13 projects financed by the platform prevent 105,000 tons of CO2 from being emitted each year.
  • This initiative has enabled 112,000 households to be supplied with renewable energy.
  • CCollected more than 7 million euros for 13 renewable energy projects thanks to the more than 4000 members involved .
  • Each investor invests on average 2.6 times, for an average amount of 4,658 euros for each project.
