Komebac® is a lightweight packaging solution that is 100% recyclable and can be used in many ways in logistics. The box is made of expanded polypropylene. It works the same way as a standard plastic box used for rotation packaging, but it lasts longer and is much lighter (60%) than a standard plastic box. This weight loss means less use of raw materials, less pollution, lower transportation costs, and better health for the operator (less weight load resulting in less risk of injury). Material waste is cut down when the life of a product is lengthened, and the material can be fully recycled at the end of the product’s life.
