The Changers Fit app uses gamification challenges to walk, cycle, use public transport, take part in eco-friendly and healthy activities, where citizens and employees learn more about waste reduction, healthy nutrition, energy-saving, green mobility and much more. The app records all activities, calculates the CO2 balance and rewards the CO2 savings with climate points. The points can be used in donations or tree planting projects or can be redeemed against offers from the city administration, local shop owners and cultural institutions.

Clean Guanatos • Rewarding points when you clean garbage

The next app objective is to invite citizens in general, but especially the university community, to collaborate with the preservation and improvement of the environment through garbage collection caused by the citizens themselves or by consequences of natural phenomena such as rains or hurricanes.

With Ecologi’s subscription service, users can responsibly and sustainably reforest countries which have been devastated by forest fires or illegal deforestation. On top of this, the money also supports other climate solutions like wind power and protecting the Amazon rainforest.

Evergreen Life • All your medical records in one place

TreeTime • Reforestation with drone technology

The next app is TreeTime, where you can grow and plant trees in New Zealand for the price of 2 cups of coffee. To this date, 2200 trees have been planted, equivalent to 10 million kgs of CO2 sequestration. This could potentially mitigate the impact of driving 96 million kms by car.
