An independent, foldable shelter that can generate green electricity in remote areas.
The whole facility is stored in a 20 container, which makes it easy to ship or drive the solution to any place you want. Once the solar panels are set up, the facility can produce up to 42kWp with a setup area of 70 m2 (45 solar panels) to 210 m2 (120 solar panels). The Containwatt is a simple way to get both electricity and a base camp. It has a plug-and-play system that makes it easy to set up. An automatic system makes sure that batteries, the production of electricity, and the use of electricity are all linked. Up to 120 kWh can be stored in sodium batteries.
Positive facts about CONTAINWATT
Reduction of CO2 emssion by 95% – The C02 footprint caused by solar panels is about 55g/kwh while a diesel generator emits 975g of C02/kwh
Sodium batteries : free of toxic material and 100% recyclable
96% Recyclable
The payback time is about 4 years (instantaneous in military context)
Over a period of 10 years the customers save up to 155 000 euro compared to mainstream alternative (diesel generator)
