A vertical farm that can grow different kinds of food in places that don’t have electricity or a water system.
The goal of the solution is to provide fresh, healthy, organic food that is sustainable, profitable, and made with only renewable energy and rainwater. This solution is based on indoor farming techniques that can be moved around and put together in a recycled shipping container. All fruits and vegetables are grown on their own planters, with soil and organic compost mixed together, on more than one floor. Solar panels built into the roof power automatic LED systems that provide the light. Rainwater from the roof is collected and stored in a tank inside the Food container. This water is used by the drip irrigation system. A double-flow ventilation system connected to a Canadian well to get heat from the ground keeps the air fresh. Electronic sensors look at many things in real time, such as the temperature, CO2, humidity level, light, speed of plant growth, and many others.
