Designed in Berlin in 2020, the cube Berlin shows an example of solution to Green industry & infrastructure and Responsible consumption & production – in line with sustainable development goals for the future.
3XN, a Danish firm designed an office building, called the Cube Berlin, deemed to be 25% more energy efficient than others. The entire building is managed by a single system, accessible via an app.
Tenants are able to change the temperature in their office, check the charge on their electric car or bike in the garage, or even communicate with others! All of the data from the app is then processed by a software which learns the habits of the building’s occupants and adjusts its systems to maximize efficiency!
