The linear economy is leading us to problems with the environment. Sadly, it is often easier to throw something away and buy a new one, even if the old one is still good. This technology and services take a circular approach and try to get people out of the buy, use, throw away, buy cycle. We see resources where other people see waste. Collaborative Recycling helps private or public companies reduce the amount of trash they make and take care of the whole process (inventory, reuse, move, tracking). We made a webapp to make inventory easier, an online donation platform to match supply with demand, and a tool to keep track of items that have been re-distributed. By giving their items away for free to people in the network (like local associations, social businesses, artist groups, etc.), clients give their things a second chance.
