The app’s purpose is to scan barcodes on packaging and be rewarded for your efforts. Simultaneously, we provide you with a clear picture of the exact amount of CO2 emissions that you save and what that means for our climate.
The goal is to create a world in which all packaging has a value and is not discarded with garbage or in nature, but instead ends up where it belongs.
HOW DO I USE BOWER TO RECYCLE?
1. At home, scan and sort your packaging.
2. Use the app to locate the nearest recycling station or to register your own.
3. Go to your local recycling center, open your Bower-recycle bag, and choose “recycle packaging.”
4. Place all packaging in the appropriate container. Excellent work!
WHERE CAN I RECYCLE?
Any public recycling station will accept your recyclable waste. If the station isn’t already in the app, you can add it and earn rewards. Personal recycling stations can also be added in some cases.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF RECYCLING WITH BOWER
1. Cash-backs
You can currently withdraw money vouchers once a month. You can either deposit the money vouchers into your bank account or donate them to charity. Most organizations concerned with the development and well-being of people, animals, and nature can accept the value as a donation. There is bound to be something on the list of organizations that you are particularly passionate about.
2. Discount coupons
Bower-points can be redeemed for special coupons. Some coupons can only be used in physical stores, while others can only be used online. The coupons are valid for a few months, giving you plenty of time to use them. A coupon cannot be combined with any other promotions.
3. Recognize how your actions affect the environment.
You can see how much carbon dioxide you are actually removing from the atmosphere and what that represents.

Who Provides the Cash-Back?
We are able to offer a deposit on all packaging as a result of our partnerships with more than 130 brands, including Dove, Capri-Sun, and Hellmann’s.
Currently, only Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, the UK, and Los Angeles allow you to recycle packaging via the Bower app.
