Every year, the world loses a net of 8.1 million acres of forest. 70% of all freshwater used around the world is taken out for irrigation. The MTP wants to solve these and other important environmental problems by bringing in a new technology that will change things. The goal of this solution is to use sea water to bring back forests and farmland. The MTP technology is made up of three different parts. Together, they are a unique innovation that can change the way we fight climate change: Desalination units, which use solar energy to evaporate water and collect its condensate; the Waterboxx Plant Coocon, which makes it possible for trees, bushes, and plants to grow in harsh conditions; and IoT modules, which allow plants to be monitored to collect, analyze, and share data in a way that is easy for people to use. Through technology, this solution is both profitable and long-lasting.
