Created in UK in 2016, Chip[s] Board provides a solution to Responsible consumption & production – in line with sustainable development goals for the future.
Chip[s] Board produces bio-plastics out of waste from the potato industry. The bio-plastic composites perform the same as conventional plastics whilst being Biodegradable and recyclable post use.
Chip[s] Board was developed around the values of a circular economy, combining research and innovation to maximise the abundant resources not currently being utilised and improve the well-being of the planet. None of the materials involve the use of petrochemical plastic or resins. Food waste is used as the starting point for the production of Parblex.
Currently their plastic is used to produce glasses and other design items. Their production is truly 100% circular economy.
